Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American performer and actress, started with funny raps, which dealt with the racial and sexual identities of people. After which she moved into Hollywood, she released several rap tracks. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first musical experience. She was a trumpeter. After that, she took the classical and hip-hop genres. In college, she studied journalism and women's studies. It was also during this time that she spent some time learning Mandarin during her time in Beijing. When she graduated, she started to focus on music. Her track My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet during 2012. It would later be included in her album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also featured viral hits like the body-positive Queef as well as the wink-inducing hometown tour NYC Bitche$. This latter song was directly linked to Awkwafina's NYC and 2015 travel guide. With musician and author among her accomplishments, she decided to focus on becoming the role of a third-party actor. Apart from early series like Girl Code and Tawk she has also appeared in films like Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018 she scored breakout roles in a handful of famous films such as Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP premiered in June.
